I created this blog as a place to share some of the funny and odd things that happen in life. I am a wife, mom to an eight year old, and a vet student so life gets a little overwhelming pretty quickly for me. Before deciding to take the plunge into going back to school I was an active duty Marine for almost eight years and that time in taught me that when things change and get crazy you just need to roll with the punches and find the humor in situations. “Semper Gumby” is how we put it. That’s Latin for “Always Flexible” or something like that. In addition to my husband and son my family consists of a dog, two cats, and two horses.

I recently started work on my very first novel, which will be a fantasy story. The creative process has been a lot of fun so far and now the challenge is to put my story onto paper in a form that people will want to read. Honestly I just hope to finish it and have a story that I am happy with.
